Product detailed description
The Saperavi-Usakhelauri 2020 is an exceptionally rare and sophisticated wine. The robust Saperavi grape is blended with the distinctive Usakhelouri variety, creating a unique and balanced synergy. This red wine is fermented using traditional methods in qvevri, Georgian clay vessels.
The wine features a harmonious balance of tannins, complemented by notes of ripe red berries, blackcurrant, licorice, and black pepper. The result is a full-bodied wine with a long, rich finish.
This red wine will reveal its full potential when paired with red meats, such as lamb chops, veal, and beef steak. It also provides an excellent counterpoint to aged and goat cheeses.
The Tsinandali Estate is one of Georgia’s most historic wineries, founded in 1839 by Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, who based the winery on a combination of European and Georgian winemaking traditions.
