Saperavi-Dzelshavi 2022 – Naberauli is an exceptional red wine from Georgia that combines the power of the Saperavi grape with the elegance of Dzelshavi. This dry Georgian wine from the 2022 vintage is bottled in a 0.75 L volume and comes from the Racha region, specifically from the Naberauli winery located in the village of Sadmeli.
The wine is made from hand-harvested grapes: 60% Saperavi and 40% Dzelshavi. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 22–26 °C using cultured yeasts, and the wine was then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. This process gives the wine a complex character and depth. Saperavi-Dzelshavi 2022 boasts a garnet color and a rich aroma of ripe cherries, forest fruits, plums, and subtle notes of chocolate. The palate is dry, with pleasant acidity, a well-structured body, and a silky finish that leaves a long-lasting impression. The alcohol content is 12%.
