Product detailed description
This 2023 vintage Kisi by winemaker Zaza Mamulashvili is from the Kakheti region of Georgia. Although initially listed with a "Classic" method and as a "Dry White Wine", the tasting note describes it as a rich, velvety amber wine. The flavors mirror aromas of mixed exotic fruits, predominantly mango and passion fruit, with hints of grass, eucalyptus, and minerals. It features silky tannins that balance a robust structure and full body, leading to a lasting finish. This wine is recommended to be enjoyed with meats and cheese.
All Kisi grapes for this wine were grown in Bruale's vineyards in the Kvareli microzone of the Alazani valley. This valley benefits from fertile alluvial soil, average humidity, mild winters, and long, warm summers, with vineyards situated at an altitude of around 450 metres above sea level.
The winery's origins trace back to around 2010, when the founding Georgian-French partnership began. Located in Kakheti, Georgia, this Georgian-French venture blends traditional Qvevri winemaking techniques with classic methods, including oak barrel aging.
