100% Budeshuri Saperavi. Grapes harvested ina the Gori Region, Central Kartli, Georgia. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, skins are separated from the wine and it continues to mature in Qvevri for 6-8 additional months.
Bouquet: It has dominating aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate, black cherry, ripe red plum with spicy notes of black pepper and wild rose petals.
Palate: Pronounced blackberry, back cherry and ripe red plums translate very exquisitely from the bouquet to the palate. Secondary notes of dark chocolate are present.
Food Pairing: Budeshuri Saperavi is an excellent pairing for red meat dishes, especially grilled or barbecued meats. It also goes well with rich pastas and cheeses, roasted vegetables and dark chocolate desserts.
