Grapes: Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli. Medium bodied dry red wine made from rare Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli grape varieties normally used for Khvanchara wines. Typical aroma of red berries with notes of cherry and spice on the palate. A fruit bomb with a wood touch.  Smooth in the mouth. Nice balance between the ubiquitous fruit, the spicy tannins and a lot of elegance. A candy wine.

The Palace of Chavchavadze is where Georgian wine was first bottled. The palace is located in the Kakheti region. This was for centuries one of the domains of the Royal Chavchavadze family. The true revival of the estate is linked to the name of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze (1786-1846) poet, public benefactor and military figure. In his time he brought the high-quality Georgian wine to the European market. This dry red wine is dedicated to Prince Alexander Chavchavadze's daughter, Sophia Baroness Nicolay.

Tsinandali Estate is recognized as a historical site of wine’s origin, with the first recorded bottling of wine taking place there in the 1800s. It since maintains production with the traditional methods of Georgian winemaking as well as using modern technology to produce classical European vintages. They produce several distinguished, full-bodied vintages while farming organically over 11 different local wine species.

Located in the fertile Kakheti Region famous for its history of winemaking, Tsinandali Estate’s vineyard rests in a unique landscape bordered by canyons and forests, where it cultivates several different Georgian vine species.

Tsinandali Estate je považováno za kolébku klasického vinařství v Gruzii. Na počátku 19. století kníže Alexandr Chavchavadze představil v Gruzii evropskou technologii výroby vína a vytvořil nový standard výroby gruzínského vína. Tsinandali Estate je vinařství, kde poprvé v Gruzii přikročili k lahvování vína. Toto vinařství pokračuje v tradici Alexandra Chavchavadze dodnes. Na jedné straně dbá na klasické postupy evropského vinařství a na druhé straně navazuje na 8000 let starou tradici gruzínského vinařství – zráním v qvevri.
