Qvevri Semi-dry Amber wine. Kakhuri Mtsvane 100%. Here is the origins of this style as wild fermentation may not finish dry, but retain some natural residual sweetness, i.e. ending up into so called naturally un-finished fermentation.Since these wines have residual sweetness and they carry the risk of re-fermentation, they are taken into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. They are prepared for bottling under chilling temperature to retain primary varietal aromas as well as their sweet-soft taste. This wine, of intensive amber to tawny colour, bears tropical fruit aromas blended with quince notes, offering a unique sweet-soft, extended finish – an unusual taste profile for Qvevri wine.

Georgian Sun produces fine natural wine with grapes grown on the Vazisubani Estate, located in the sun-drenched region of Kakheti. Winemaker Lado Uzunashvili teamed up with businessmen Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze to restore the Vazisubani Estate, and present Georgian Sun wines as an innovative extension of the brand, intended for exporting internationally.

At an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, Vazisubani lies south of the Alazani River, in the fertile valley before the northern foothills of the Gombori Range. The 35 hectares are dedicated to Kahkuri Mtsvane, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, and Kisi grapes.
