Product detailed description

2024 Ekaterine: A white semi-sweet wine that opens a brand-new, expressive chapter in the Tsinandali Estate collection. Named in honor of the last Queen of Odishi, the daughter of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, this wine is a blend of selected Tsolikouri, Tetra, and Mtsvane grapes. The juice undergoes a gentle, slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve its pure varietal character. It is alive with bright citrus and white fruit aromas, capturing a vibrant freshness where natural sweetness and crisp acidity meet in perfect harmony.

Tsinandali Estate Winery: Celebrated as the birthplace of classical Georgian winemaking in the heart of Kakheti, this historic estate produced the country's very first bottled wine. Its true renaissance was led in the 19th century by Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, a visionary who harmoniously merged Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking heritage with modern European techniques. Managing 40 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards dedicated mostly to indigenous varieties, the estate operates a precise modern facility and French barrel hall alongside a traditional Qvevri cellar with 1,500-liter buried clay vessels. The estate also preserves a historical oenotheque housing over 16,500 rare bottles, including Georgia's oldest bottled wine, a Saperavi from the 1839 vintage.
